I was told this is not compatible with the tlb but they were not specific on the issues. I assume either being able to spin the seat to use the backhoe or due to the backhoe tractor frame additions. Has anyone installed this kit? Is there a work around to use it with the backhoe model? Would like to have the additional remotes to run hydraulic top link and hydraulic side link. Has anyone tried using an electric linear drive motor for either of these application?

The kit will fit but you need to relocate the remote couplers. The coupler mount can be reversed to be on the outside of the ROPS. You will need to replace the hard lines with new hoses to relocate the ROPS mount. Not a big job.

I chose not to do that as I only need a top link and the kit is expensive here in OZ
I mounted a PB valve on the top link and plug directly into the BH connections

Thank you for the response. I think what you've done would work with a 2 spool set up to add the tilt? The only negative is having to turn around to operate, which would not be that frequent. Could look at a quick mount to the ROPS that would detach when the backhoe is attached?

That would work fine.
If you look at the pics of mine, I have the valve tilted over to make it easy to operate.
I really only use it with my box blade, so its not an issue for me.

You can mount the valve outside the ROPS and you can also have the outlets either mounted to the valve or remote using hoses. Just plugin when the BH is no mounted.

No reason the valve cant be mounted all the time.
If you want to do that you have 2 options

1. Plug into the 3 rear PB connections when the BH is remove. This needs you to come up with a way of storing the 3 hoses out of the way when you attach the BH

2. Use the PB feature of the valve.
Remove the return fitting from the back of the BX. Add a T piece and reinstall the coupler. Plumb this to the return on your valve.
Connect the BX pressure fitting to the inlet of your valve.
Connect the BX Beyond port to the valve PB port

When connect the BH you only need to remove the PB hose from the back of the BX
Attach the BH to the coupler on the BX as per normal
Connect the hose you removed to the BH pressure hose
Connect the return to the new t piece

In other words leave the PB valve on place and connect the BH to the PB downstream from the valve
