Is that for real? I have seen deer jump my wife's 5 1/2 foot garden fence so that one is not really too much of a stretch, I guess. If that was on my property it would be hanging in the garage before nightfall and in the freezer the next day.

It looks to be an archery target to me at least. There appears to be a hard transition on the neck where it meets its torso.

Around here the PaGC sets up deer like that and sit and wait for somebody to take a pot shot at it in the night. I have never seen it, but they are supposed to have some that move their heads as well, to look more life like I guess. And banging on at night is illegal, I would think you could site entrapment but again who knows

I have a friend who is a "rough character" construction worker. He was going home from work one evening, going through the country to a small town a few miles away. He turned off the main road and came upon a herd of deer crossing the road. He stopped to let them pass, and while waiting he noticed another truck coming up behind him. As he pulled off from the stop the guy behind him swerved from side to side a couple of times and then started flashing his lights.

My friend said his first thought was it was someone who was upset about something in the past, so he wasn't going to stop out in the middle of now where. But he kept flashing his lights. When he got into town he pulled over, and the guy pulled in behind him. As they both got out and walking towards each other a deer jump up out of his pickup and runs off.

The guy behind him saw the whole incident and was trying to warn him of the deer in his truck bed.
