I am wanting to add power steering to my L295. Might anyone have a suggestion or know who might make an add on kit? Appreciate it

I had read the earlier thread mentioned above but the links seemed to lead to anything but PS kits.

I see that an L345 had PS and a brand new integral PS box can be bought for less that $500.

I have no idea of the differences between an L295 and L345 but an integral box would be a far simpler package than the add on kits.

Thank you Dave. I agree. I am researching now how to fit an electric ps. Looks promising, just need to figure out how to fit it in there. I will also speak to some folks about the 345. That would be wayyyyyyyy simpler I am thinking also. I am also getting some counter weight on the back. I have read that makes a big difference. Winter is on the way, so I have time to work in the shop on this instead of needing to be out. Appreciate the advise sir

Jackson Power Steering markets aftermarket power steering kits for some tractors.

Not sure about Kubota but worth a try.

On my old Nuffield, when using my 90" inverted blower, the tractor's front wheels were often just off the ground and I would steer using the wheel brakes. :)

Ballast can make a big difference.

Thank you sir. In the meantime, my steering box does need to be replaced. There is about 10 inches of play in the wheel. The tie road and steering arm aren't tight, but not to that extent.

So, I am going to have Roland Jackson fabricate me a power steering unit. It is not cheap, but I do not plan on getting rid of this tractor anytime soon. In honesty to replace it would be north of $10,000 used so I have money to spare for sure.

Does anyone on here have the dimensions of the steering column and bottom plate for the 295? I can tear this down and get the information, but wanted to check if anyone has done this before and if so would have the measurements or is there a drawing or schematic that exists.

Thank you again for all of the help.
