Hi...I recently had to remove the fuel tank from my bx2350. it was a chore And when I put it all back together It starts fine but when I hit forward or reverse it stalls. It’s obvious the machine thinks I’m not sitting on it. I checked the switch under the seat and everything seams ok. Is there a way to disengage this switch? I know it’s a safety thing but everything I do is level ground. I spent so much time trying to find out why my bx was stalling and when I corrected it by cleaning out the tank....now this. Thanks
Your tractor is not as simple as you seem to think It has an electronic brain not just safety switches.
It has an OPC (Operator presence Control) .
Check out test #3 & 4 on the attached page.
The range shift lever switch and/or pto switch are involved with the seat switch in deciding if the engine needs to be stopped.
I do not think anyone would want the responsibility of telling you how to bypass a safety switch.
You drive under a low hanging branch and get knocked off the seat and run over by your own machine......... ...... lets try and figure out what is wrong.
