On the B7100's - a little different machine but a few similarities - the 60" is a sub-beauch to remove!

And reading up on the B7800 - they are somewhat the same.

Raise deck - turn scalp wheel 90 degrees to tractor - lower deck, unhook all (pto - front - lift points) and if the front wheels are turned a certain way AND you are on a hard surface the deck will come out. I find it better to jack the front end up and good bit to avoid the front tires. Then again I am always doing this on grass and a slight hill.

as for manual:

Got a b7800 today
Now I plan to change all the fluids but the deck is in my way
Is it hard to remove it
No manual yet
Easy on both my B1750 and B3350.

Don't fight it. Simply drive the tractor onto a layer or two of short 2X* planks (F & R) to gain clearance to roll the deck out to the side. Alternatively, rear only and raise the front with a suitable jack.

Yes, is it much easier on a concrete surface.

I can change engine oil without removing the decks but it is a PITA and not worth the effort/mess.

Process sounds the same as my BX2200. Not overly difficult or time consuming. Doing it on a concrete floor where the deck can roll easily makes it a lot easier. Unfortunately, I am usually stuck doing it on grass in the yard. The deck isn't light and kind of a pain to have to He-Man in and out from under the tractor.

All in all it is a ton easier than pulling the deck off of the riding mowers I have had.
