Nothing special, but I just saw these things on Amazon a while ago (looking at Vacuum Sealers).

Bora Centipede stand that can be used as a portable workstation. Little one, 2x4’ with a reported 2,500 lb capacity. $75

Seems kinda neat and sets up in a jiffy. Holders for 2x4’s flat or on edge, plus clamps for plywood.

Added a quick change tool post to my lathe tonight. Had to get creative using the 4-jaw chuck and the old tool post with some tool bits and shim stock to machine the T-nut to fit the compound.

Bill, I haven't been on OTT as much lately since limitations of post on "off topic". Didn't you have a post a week ago, I added a comment to it and now I don't see the post at all. It it get deleted? Seems a bit too much if so.

The non civil peeps are still here posting just as normal. You know the ones who threatened to shoot people, beat people up and wished death, sickness and financial ruin on other members for having a differing opinion? Im one of the ones who that was directed at yet and ive been told to leave. I have yet to get an apology from those members, Ott staff or owners. Not saying I need it but just goes to show what OTT is really all about and it isnt a warm and welcoming place to all, just the squeaky wheels and people who have been here for a long time.

I have 2 Kubotas now and wont be buying stuff from OTTs advertisers since they have tried to run me off and instead cater to the REAL trouble makers. Ill come here, use it as a reference and leave until the next time which i guess is what the owners want people to do.

btw, on my android phone i get political advertisments directed at me...lol so this website is making money off political campaigns.
Thought about bringing it up in site suggestions but figured i would just get banned for it.
nice place here..lol

Odd, if the bad peeps have left, then why can't we discuss things like adults again? Looking at recent posts, it looks like most people have left. This is what censorship leads to.

I say again, we diminish the whole community by limiting reasonable discussion. Yes it's a tractor site and yes the owners have the right to set the rules. It's just much less of a community when reasoned discussion is stifled.

Here we go again. There are rules you do not like so you are going to try and push the owners until they close the thread and then complain that they closed the tread.

If you wish to go on and on about other topics go to a forum that talks about those topics.

You act like a bunch of children trying to "get one over" on the teacher.

The rules established by the owners are the rules that you accept when you use this forum. If you do not like the rules GO ElSEWHERE instead of repeating the same old BS they censored me! Some of you need to have your non-tractor ideas censored from a tractor forum and instead repeat your opinions in the forums that are dealing with that topic.

You are free to go to other forums, you are free to express your opinions in other ways just follow the rules for this forum. This is not the only way to communicate to other like minded people about a zillion other subjects.

If and only if this was the only forum on the net could you complain about censorship. It is not the only outlet for information and ideas. The owners have chosen to limit the scope of the forum. When you wish to talk about tractors I have not seen any type of censorship. So your complaints are not valid.

Go to one of the forums that talk about the virus or politics and post your questions or projects about tractors. You will be censored or asked to stop or simply ignored.

Let's all drop this forbidden subject from the "Show us your shop and equipment" thread. The censors will delete this thread and we will lose all the shop info. I would speak further on the subject but don't want to get banned. Thanks.

Made another 5C collet rack out of stuff from the stock stash.
Extra points for identifying the "decks".

We have a winner! The older, stamped, raised letter plates were not very useful, but are now becoming more collectible now that most states have gone to flat, painted letters/numbers. But the flat plates make decent stock for projects.

As with many of my projects, the form they take is often influenced by the materials I have on hand.

We recently scrapped an old computer chair, and I kept the caster wheel base, just because it looked like it might be useful. Then I saw a 7' piece of aluminum tube in the stock stash, and a design began to take shape in my head.
First, I bored the tapered hole in the caster wheel base to a straight bore.

Then I turned/bored some aluminum sleeving to fit the base & aluminum tube.

Then I c'drilled, tap drilled, body drilled, spot faced, and tapped for a 1/4-20 lock bolt for the 7' tube.

Finally, fabricated & scrounged up a multiple axis adjustable clamp for the work light I had on hand.

The result.
I will probably take this to the garage in the high country, as there is more room & less light there.

Scroll Chuck Arbor

I've been needing a small, low pressure 3 jaw chuck for a couple of toy restoration projects and similar things, so I thought I would make a one inch shank/arbor for my Zweifel/Reishauer Swiss made watchmaker's chuck. It is a low profile speed scroll chuck, with two sets of jaws, so I started by disassembling, cleaning, and lubing it.

Then I took a large piece of steel I picked up for free at an estate sale, (supposed to be a broken off tractor axle) and roughed out the arbor.
