Hi all,
I will grab a picture to help when I get home, but hoping I can describe it. 2 things.

1. Last night after working my BX2200 for hours it was sitting idling and just died. No power to gauges, fuel pump etc. I found that the 30A fuse had blown. If I jumped the connector it started and ran fine. Is this 30A fuse Kubota specific, or should I be able to get one at an regular auto-parts/hardware store? It looks like this.

2. While diagnosing the fuse issue I noticed that the wire going to what looked like a sensor/GP/switch of some kind was broke. The sensor/gp/switch is located right above what looks like the fuel/oil filter in the right hand side (if your sitting in the seat) of the engine. Any idea on what this is? Is it possible the wire that broke off is grounding and caused the fuse to blow?

Thanks

Fuse is common one at NAPA or other places. Often referred to as a Slow Blow fuse having replaced the old style fusible link.

Unless the broken wire is of a heavy gauge, it would have melted in blowing the fuse.

Fuses can get tired over time and fail for no good reason,

I'd advise against jumping around that fuse. If you do have a short, you can cause a lot more trouble than what you have now. If that fuse blows again after fixing that broken wire, you need to figure out where the problem is.

I am picking up a couple new fuses today after work, so it will be fused.

Any thoughts on the broken wire to the sensor etc located above the oil filter on my BX2200?

Nor familiar. There's a WorkShop Manual for your beast at Kubotabooks.com. It'll have a wiring diagram etc. Anything not working or working wonky - temp. gauge, glow plugs?

Everything seems to be working as designed. I do have an intermittent starting issue where I have to jump the starter from time to time. I purchased a relay to fix it, just haven't installed yet.

A previous owner appears to have bypassed stuff like the seat safety switch etc....if it ever had one.
