What mystifies me is the number of people who lack firsthand information and then who choose to believe in nefarious complicated nearly impossible conspiracies instead of common sense.
I am constantly mystified by how many people continue to drink the Kool-aid.

Any businessman with half a working brain knows that dealing with China ALWAYS puts you on the short end of the stick.

Saleen should have been smarter than that. Oh well.

I suspect it had more to do with greed and making a buck than common sense.

What continues to mystify me is... For all the reported (purported) deaths from Covid, I don't personally know of anyone who died from it.

I'm starting to think the numbers are fictitious.

I've been wondering similar. My wife being a nurse knows of two from a sister facility that can be linked directly to the virus. Two others attributed to the virus were asymptomatic, on hospice and already actively dieing. One was 107 years old and had pancreatic cancer.

They have two employees at her facility that tested positive. But after facility wide testing, everyone else was negative. So it didn't spread through like a tornado in a trailer park like expected.

I'm sure all the folks at Sturgis will keep their distance from each other for the entire 10 days!

I not only do not know anyone that has died from this virus; I don't know anyone that knows anyone that has died from it.

I do know one person that had it though. He is a cousin of mine and he has MS. He is also just 62 years old. Now, with his underlying health issues, wouldn't he at least be a candidate for a real bad case of it? He told me that it was no worse than any other flu he has ever had. He said the only reason that he was hospitalized for it was because they supposedly wanted to quarantine him and monitor his progress. He said there were others in his ward there for the same reason but none of them died while he was there and he has not heard of anyone dying from it.

That makes me think this is all hype that will go away if the democrats win in November. I also think that if President Trump was not shackled by this rouge congress and all the deep state actors that he would be able to expose this as the conspiracy that it is and do something to get us back on track.

I would like to say a lot more but I dare not lest my post be censored or the thread be shut down.

I seriously doubt any protesters will show up to express their opinion to that group! It might be a good plan of action to send a portion of them to every city that has a group destroying property to have them show what will happen in the next city.

I have a childhood friend that died from Covidcancer.

He was in Hospice for a few months when he got it, they put him on a vent and a week later he was dead.

They ruled it a covid death. His wife is pissed, she watched cancer take him.

We should be careful mentioning covid in a thread, more censorship is not needed in these times. Some people can not hear another opinion without complaining.

I'll go on record as saying I know of ONE person who died from Covid or at least that is what was on the death certificate. One of my good friend's uncle. who was in his 80's and had a pre existing condition succumbed.

The only one I know of. I'd sure like to know where all the thousands of deaths are 'cause they sure aren't around here.

I'm starting to think that health care professionals are attributing all morbidity deaths to Covid.

If that is the case, it's a pretty sad scenario when a common cold shuts down the country and destroys the economy.

If that is the way it plays, it's one helluva joke on the American people. A very bad joke.

Still don't change how my wife and I address it however. So far, so good with us but again, other than the one person I know of, I know no one that has died from it.

I have this creeping feeling that something really stinks.

I am glad to report I know of no one who has died from this virus. I do know one person who was diagnosed with it and said it's something she would wish on nobody. I also know a few who "think" they may have had it, but were never tested. Described it as flu like symptoms.

It's been reported that Hospitals/Doctors are paid a "healthy" premium for Covid admissions and treatments. Sounds like an incentive to me.

Same here. Was talking to my pilot buddy (we both fly drones as a hobby) and he told me a good friend of his tested positive and came down with it. He told me his friend said it was very much flu like. Said even his hair hurt...lol His friend is in his 60's and recovered with no lingering effects without hospitalization. Stayed home, drank plenty of fluids and took Tylenol and that was it.

I'm beginning to think it's a scam perpetrated on the American people by those with an ulterior motive and I believe people do wind up in the hospital and do die, but they suffer the same scenario's from the common flu too. You get the common Swine Flu and it settles in your lungs and you are at 'at risk' person, you probably suffer the same fate... passing on.

Me, I'm still about social distancing and masks but I don't feel it should be forced on people via EO's from power drunk governors. Not the way a democracy is supposed to work. Maybe a Socialist regime but not a democracy.

People, in general are their own worst enemy's
. A little common sense goes a long way. problem is, people today lack common sense.

I also find it interesting that various member of Trump's inner circle tested positive but yet no one died and far as I know, none of them even got sick.

Maybe Trump is on to something by not wearing a mask at all. He hasn't gotten sick either and I had heard he was taking the Malaria drug which the CDC says is worthless but Henry Ford Hospital, Dearborn said it was effective and they did a clinical trial. Lots of conflicting information from supposed 'Talking Heads. One has to wonder about the validity of all of it.
