Hi,

Currently in the process of rebuilding a Kubota D902 engine...
I have the shop manual for it, and I'm following the diagram for the timing gears.
I've set TDC on the flywheel side, and lined up the dots on the timing gears.
It's a little confusing though because of the gears having helical teeth.
The diagram in the book shows the dots lining up all perfectly.
In my 3D reality, it doesn't quite look the same.
I think I've lined them up correctly,
but was hoping to get confirmation from a Kubota engine guru.

Thanks in advance!
Jonathan

That should work, check out the third picture down on pdf.
Thanks! Exactly what I was looking for.
The diagram in the RTV900 manual is looking straight at the gears. Hard to tell if you're supposed to line up the marks or specific gear teeth.

Dumb question, but is the E4B a variant of the D902? How do I tell what version I have?

Thanks,
Jonathan
