That would all depend on which bearing and which gear you are referring to.

We need more info. Which gears are damaged? Perhaps pictures of both the gears in good light from a distance and close up. Did the bearing go bad over time or did it grenade? Need to look for discoloration or unusual wear on the gears.

The bearing on the end of the axle shaft disintegrated and ruined the axle shaft and the housing that it fits in the small bevel gear that drives the larger gear on the axle also looks worn there doesn’t appear to be much ware on the larger gear on the axle don’t know whether to change that price I was given was $500 for the larger Gear

Is your tractor a Hydro, gear, or glide shift? Cab or ROPS?
Coleman Equipment price on the large gear (#160 in your picture) is $390.00, and (#140) is $146.00
If the gear #160 is not worn or just has a few marks on the teeth, just touch them with a hand grinder and take the burr off, run it.

Curious how much ballast you use and frequency of FEL use.

Always hypothesised front axle bearing failure was due to being overloaded.

I've serviced several tractors with similar bearing failures and none of the operators believed proper ballast was necessary (or ever used).

You have a great theory I haven’t taken the loader off of this tractor for eight years mainly use it to pull a 12 foot finish mower at our church Never thought about how heavy that thing is, thanks

Coleman Equipments Headquarters is in Bonner Springs, Kansas. The west edge of the Kansas City metro.
There are two other locations also, Smithville, Missouri, and Lees Summit Missouri.
