I have a 3130 and I'm down on lift power. It only has 1200 hrs. on it with all the hourly maintenance. Any suggestions on what the problem could be? I like to work on my own equipment.

Have you had the pressure checked?

Is it whining? How is your power steering? My 2800 had a small hole in the suction line that caused poor FEL performance as well as the PS. Check your suction hose to the pump. My tractor showed no signs of leaks since the hole was on the suction side.

Many times the leaks are hard to find. A good example is mentioned above, but with 1200 hours there can't be something significantly wrong. I would keep looking because there has to be a leak (which has caused lower pressure) somewhere. Have you considered consulting a Portland handyman? They might be able to help find the issue. Let us know what you find!

My loader seems to have lost power too, it's a 2001 model with 800 hours. I'm starting to think the control valve may be leaking internally and need some new seals, or the pump may need a rebuild.
