Ok guys...help

Will a BX2380 w/ quick hitch handle a King Kutter 5' box blade? Was getting a Land Pride but unfortunately there's a world wide shortage right now. 4 - 6 week wait if lucky. Only piece I need ASAP to get started with my new BX. Thanks all.

Reading on Land Pride's site, the tractor is rated for 66" weighing 370lbs. The KK 60" weighs 475lbs (not knowing which KK model you are looking at). My guess is that it will handle it, but may struggle if you get a full load.

Yet I do NOT own a BX, just speaking from reading the charts.

I’m not a BX owner but see the rear lift listed at approximately 650 lbs at 24”. The K K box blade and quick hitch are getting up in weight, I recommend sticking with the lighter Land Pride model.

I think that you may not be happy getting a 5' box blade for your BX2380. The sub compact model tractors do not perform well with a box blade that is wider than the tractor is. I think that you will be much happier with a 4' one. I tried grading my driveway using my neighbor's 5' box blade before I bought the 4' one that I now own. I was able to do a much neater job using the 4' one because my tractor handled it much better than the 5' one. YMMV

i have a BX2370 and a 4’ Landpride box blade. If I fill my box over half full I sometimes break traction, no rear weights or ballast, just my big butt in the seat.

Thanks for the help guys. I may get the 5'er and go slow at it. I'm in a pickle. need to get the work done soon. There are ZERO land pride 4s available. Like a world shortage. lol. Even called them today and said the same thing. They shut down operations for 4 weeks and now everyone is out. Will be many weeks before they start getting them to dealers. Waiting list is huge. Possibly getting a 5' king kutter. 1 available only.

Same with the 2380's. Everyone around is out. They've all been selling.

If you loose traction just fill the FEL with dirt. The BX23S will handle my LP 5' box blade no problem!

Hate when that happens. And when you don’t need one there will be 10 for sale :p
Exactly. Instead of going with my original plan, found a local dealer who carries Titan box blades. They have plenty of 4 footers. picking one up Monday.

What did you end up buying it for. I built may house about 15 years ago, But I bought a box blade about a year ago. I literally spend about 10 minutes with it and was thinking, why in the world didn't you get one of these years ago. I have a gravel driveway and these things do wonders. Good luck with it!

Also a gravel driveway. Nervous but can't wait to get started next week. Have watched countless videos on YouTube. Such great info and tutorials out there.

I think you made a good choice. I have a 4 footer for my BX. Sometimes I wish it was 54”, but I never wish it was 60”.....

My B2650 handles my Land Pride BB1560 like a champ. And it's good to have the blade overlap the tire tracks, does a neater job.Though my B2650 machine is heavier duty than yours.
