Liked when "New Posts" was up at the top in the quick links. Now I have to click twice to load all new posts. Small personal inconvenience, all other forums I am on have it there, and so did this one. I miss it already. Life continues.

Hey Mr. K - I'm still up a tree on changing my password. I'm still logged in (don't know how - my old password and a new site-generated password both generate "incorrect" prompts.

Sorry to be such a bother - it all started because the old site generated security alerts when trying to change the old password.

So now I'm going to be automatically logged out after every session?

Yes it did but my question was why the need for the additional popup box verifying that you want to "Mark read"?
I agree, extra steps for something that should be a single click.

When the forum went live there was a new posts button now it is gone off the forum home screen. It was handy without having to navigate through other buttons to get to the new posts button.
Ok seems I underestimated how beloved the "What's New", "New posts" and "Mark forums read" links were. I moved "What's New" back to the top and also added quick links for New posts and Mark forums read under the Forum navigation too.

Is this configuration a little easier to access?

I need more information to debug this. What operating system and browser (and version) are you using? Also, does it change things if you use a different browser or if you go into private browsing mode? Does clearing your browser cache / history help?

I see the "Mark Forums Read" button is back on the front page. ThankYou, Thank You, Thank You.

I am using Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6, with Safari 13.1.1.

I logged in, cleared history, quit the browser, reopened it and it kept me logged in. (twice)

So far, so good, let's hope it lasts.

Thanks for all your hard work on this upgrade, looks like we're making progress.(y)

Ok made some server-side changes here to allow for larger image uploads before resizing. Could someone try uploading a few images without first resizing (or otherwise fiddling around) with them? If this is configured correctly, forum should automatically capture and resize images of pretty much any size.
Looks good and working good. Checked the file size. This one is around 5mb 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Ok great, going to mark "make uploading images better" as complete.
Looks like your software for the pictures is working correctly. Just noticed that it cut the file for the picture from 5mb to 500ish kb.

I am on my Apple IPhone 7 with 13.5.1 and on Safari. I tried clearing out cache/history like suggested. Was off for 3 hours, came back and was logged out.

I am logged in on my wife's Windows system and my FreeBSD (unix) system, both using Firfox and I haven't been logged out.

My 1993 Kubota M9580DTC serial #50072 engine dies when the shuttle shift lever is shifted.
Hello and welcome to the site! This thread is about the recent forum upgrade so its unlikely you'll get the help you need here. Could you start a new thread in the Service forum? That's a better place and more likely to get attention.

Mr. K -
I don’t want to sound needy or ungrateful at all.
I’ve enjoyed OTT for 7+ years, and am SO appreciative of the opportunity to be a member here. I thank you and Vic for all of that, and certainly appreciate your efforts over the last week.

No thanks can go without thanking Coach George and Sean.

Like Daren Todd, I use Tapatalk quite a lot, for the same reasons he mentioned.

If that can be restored, it would be very appreciated.
