Hello,
Just got a B2650 with FEL and looking for a spreader for plots. I have an opportunity to purchase an almost new Frontier Broadcast Spreader B1023.Will this work ok with the Kubota? Anything else I need to know?

Thank you!

This spreader is a Cat 1 attachment, just make sure your rear arms open wide enough for you to mount the spreader, they should on your B2650 it is a Cat 1 tractor.

Last thing to consider is the PTO shaft length, it may require shortening depending on the model of tractor the owner used, there are lots of videos online of how to size and shorten a PTO shaft.

I have several PTO spreaders that I use on L3200 and L3901 for both pelletized lime and fertilizer, my only comment is that you wash and rinse the spreader after use.

Good luck with your purchase.

Also consider that the PTO shaft may already be too short, depending on what it was mounted to before. Too long is easy to fix, too short is harder.

Washing the Spreader is good advice. I always spray my spreader with silicone or WD 40 when it is dry. I always wash the tractor too. Fertilizer will corrode metal in a hurry.
