I've found a really nice Kubota L175 across the mountains from me, about 4 hours away and its a decent price. I was seeing if anybody out where in OTT land has a L175 with a FEL on it. The one I'm looking at does not have one, but if and when I get my hands on it I'd like to install a FEL. I wanted to get some insight from those owners who may have a L175 with a FEL. I've seen a few rare L185's with a FEL but not many. And there isnt much difference between the two.

Thanks Guys!

My L175 has the hydraulic block in place to plumb up an FEL but I don't have one.

Nice little tractor. Go for it. :D

Well I'm trying to cheat a little bit. I have potential buyer interested in my B6100 and 4 impliments. I would be willing to sell mine but I dont want to do so just yet untill I have a larger replacement lined up with a fel. I was trying to get away with selling mine and then buy what I would like and not have to put out any addational money. Train of thought was sell mine as a package deal for 5 grand and buy the L175 I saw on Ebay for 2 grand and the left over money get a fel for it.

It could be workable if you hit all the right timing. The timing seems to be a real problem for me when I'm working something like that but I try. :D

Are you sure going up to a 175 is enough bigger? I'd say go bigger and find one that already has a FEL if you're going to all the hassle of starting over with a new tractor.

I think honestly a L175 or L185 would be the feasable approach to go for now. I've more or less out grown the B6100 and need something a little larger and beefier. I dont want to over do it just yet and end up with tractor payments and such. I figure a 175 or 185 would be im my price range and build my way up from there. I want to own a tractor free and clear and earn nothing but profit from it in my business.

I seldom do any heavy digging with a tractor. And for me something larger with a FEL is just to be able to spread out and grade down piles of material faster and more efficent then with a 4 foot grading box. Plus the added bonus of being able to work from the front of the tractor, climb a pile and back drag from the front is a helluva lot less fatigue on me. It's a PIA to twist sideways in a seat and look behind you for 10 to 12 hours a day.
