BX Grill Guard Compatibility

Hi-

Anyone know if the newer fold down style BX grill guard will fit an older 60-series tractor? I ask this because while I have the 60-series grill guard, it doesn't offer much coverage in-terms of branches punching back thru the guard. Was thinking that the newer style guard offers better coverage overall and wondering if the mounting holes would line-up and/or if there is any loader interference if the newer style was mounted on an older Kubota?

Well I know NOW that you NEED to tighten the nuts and bolts holding the fold down guard on a 2 yr odf BX23S, sigh....The silly 'door catcher clips' are useless too.
It let loose, fell forward and yup, a down coming loading WILL hit it......

When I get time, I'm going to make a REAL guard. 2 pieces, the removable guard section will slide into the bolted on fixed section. Something like stake truck sides.Simply pull guard up, set aside, open hood..... probably use PTO pins to secure for 'rough ,off road ' bounces....

I have the 60/70-series grill guard on my BX right now, but it doesn't offer much coverage in terms of not allowing wayward sticks to poke thru and take out the bonnet. I don't have the ability or tools to weld on additional protection, so...asking about the 80's-series (newer) guards. If it fits, then it may be an option for me since it does look like it offers better protection.
