Has anyone figured out a way to add mirrors so you don’t have to twist around to watch rear implements?

A local woodshop sells 80/20 stuff

https://www.amazon.com/80-20-Inc-T-Slotted-Extrusion/dp/B001F0F112

cuts with carbide tipped saw blade. I used cork and double sided tape to protect loader paint job. drilled holes in aluminum and steel bolts to hold everything together. 80/20 sells 1/4" steel "T" nuts that slide into the channels, 1/4" carriage bolts and 1/4 "'T" bolts also work.

Purchased harbor freight winch mounting plates for ammo toolboxes

Several people on the forum have used magnets to hold mirrors to the FEL towers.
That's the way I'd go if I used a lot of three point implements, but my backhoe is on 90% of the time.

Assuming you have open station tractor, does it have a canopy on it? If so many have a metal frame you can bolt to.

This! I’ll post pics when I get home next week. Living the life on the road say we’re “business essential”. I say it’s politically correct way of saying “expendable”

My mirrors are mounted on the loader arms with neodymium magnets. Mirrors are inexpensive universal jeep mirrors i picked up off fleabay or amazon for like $20. Had to remove the foam from the back of the mounting brackets. Easy on, easy off, no holes. Haven't had any issues with them moving though, the mirror head does tend to vibrate at lower rpms.
Regards,

I used golf cart mirrors off Amazon

Drilled a small hole to mount to the loader uprights

Of course the mirrors stay with the loader when I take it off to mow - so I added a rear view mirror to my canopy...

Thanks for all the ideas. I’ve never heard of neodymium magnets so will have to check them out. I do not have a canopy so that option is out. Will the mirrors mounted to the upright of the FEL stick out far enough to see 3 pt implements?

lbuch, if you can not get the mirror on your loader towers to see the implements, you can mount another round mirror on your ROPS. Then adjust your in front mirror to see the mirror in the back.

Neodymium are permanent magnets. Stronger attractive force than iron ferrite as to visibility, yes I can see sides of implements with them installed. I’ll post pics when I’m home next week if that will help you

Ping and joearizona....Both of these mirror additions look great!! I went back and looked at the magnet method. The part I didn’t comprehend was the photo showing the L shaped bracket. The finished photos don’t seem to show the brackets.
