BX2200 HST pedal went limp

Hi guys! I was using my BX2200 to move some logs and I was going along fine, but suddenly the HST pedal lost resistance. It doesn't rev the motor/do anything if I press full forward or reverse. Limp is the best word I can think of to describe it.

Any suggestions? If this has been asked before I apologize, I didn't find a thread.

My guess is a clip came off a rod or linkage underneath. Should be easy to see.

That was it! I've been trying to find the correct parts diagram to figure out what I need to get... It's like the "rod" came off a nub right over the transmission. I can crawl under and reach up and press it back onto the nub to temporarily fix, but it obviously keeps falling off so I'm not sure what I need to get. Thanks!

Nub???

The front of the rod is held on by a clip and the rear has a nut.

Click on Open
Click on Speed change lever
Click on speed control pedal
The parts list and diagram will be displayed.

The front of the rod is held on by a clip and the rear has a nut.

Thanks! Part #140 appears to have broken apart, so the "nub" I'm replacing the end of the rod onto is usually not a nub it seems. The nut that holds it on is still present and tight, I have no idea how I would've snapped that off but when I remove it I'll report back!

Awwww the ball has come out of the socket.

Kind of a normal failure for small ball joints.

Ah yes! I was running over some relatively gnarly whip-trees and stuff, something must've popped it off.

As an aside and given how well made this tractor strikes me as, the undercarriage doesn't seem super well protected with that exposed filter, HST fan, etc. I noticed I'd bent one of the brake pedal rods somehow when I crawled underneath.
