I'm thinking about upgrading from an L2600DT to an MX5200. Can I continue to use my 4ft cutter and 4 ft box blade and 4 ft disc until I can afford to get larger ones? Thanks all.

Yes, you can. But with the MX being 18" wider than the L, you will have even more tire sticking out past your implements than you had with the L.

yes, AND the 4' implements WILL fetch GREAT prices if you decide to sell them ! At least up here the smaller stuff is scarce(lots of smaller gardens). You can get 3 'fullsize' implements for 2 'smaller' ones any day.
Before you sell them though, consider getting a smaller tractor. Might come in handy, especially if you have 'tight' contours or 'obstacles' to deal with. Or when th ebigun goes in for service and parts aren't available for 2 weeks.....always nice to have a backup, and a spare, and a justincase......:)

Thanks guys, good info. What do you think about putting a loader on the 2600? It has about 600 hours and runs fine. I think they are about $5k, give or take. That Would at least allow me to use grapples and other useful implements.

I personally wouldn't add a loader to that tractor.
The likelihood of finding a loader that would fit it properly is low, as it's not a common model of tractor and it's 20 years old.
It's not going to have anywhere near the capacity of an MX or even a newer L tractor.
With adding a loader to older tractors there are risks like the extra strain will cause already worn parts to fail, like steering components, front drive components, and most likely clutch issues.
