I just had to look this up and see what a Fumoto valve was

Now that I know...Why would you want one of thease on your tractor? My thoughts are while you are operating your tractor it could get caught on something and rip it out and loose all of your oil. On a car you are not expected to be off in the field, ditch or whatever.

Hi Kubota Man,

With the sub-frame I have on my tractor if the valve gets ripped out I'll have a lot more problems to worry about then just losing some oil! :) Plus with the sub-frame when ever I change the oil it goes all over the place where using the Fumoto valve with a piece of tubing there would be no mess. I have one on my wife's Hummer and one on my F-250 Super Duty.
Got any snow up in your part of Idaho? Got some down here above 7000', but hopefully will start getting some early next month. I blow out driveways and could really use the $$$ as I just bought a new blower!

No snow yet...........It will be here very soon ;) I can deal with 10°F better than I can deal with 90°F. An old fat guy like me can't take to much heat :(

I'm with you, no doubt i would oil down the property after it ripped one of those off. I am constantly having to get the chainsaw out to cut limbs out from under the tractor while clearing the property.

Does anyone know what size Fumoto valve will work on our Kubota's? I have a 2004 L5030 and the oil drain bolt part number is 16427-33750, but have no idea what MM size it is.
If you go to Fumoto's site they give a sizing for most engines. You should be able to get the right size from that.
At least that is what I have done.:D
