Word is that Kubota will replace that when their new 6 cylinder engine is ready in a couple of years.

It’s not completely their tractor. The M8 is made via a partnership with Buhler Industries. I read it’s mostly a Buhler tractor with a Kubota operator platform. Nothing wrong with a Cummins 6.7. Kubota is all set up to fully service it.
