Need 1 of the 3 black plugs on the side of the loader that keeps the grease from coming out of the pin(Keeps the mess down). The dealer can not get me 1 he stated. Anyone know where's about I might can luck up on 1? Thanks!

Re: LA1134 loader

First things first... Go out a read the loader number again, as there is no LA1134 loader... While your there get the serial number too.

Second I think your talking about paint caps, and no you can't get them, they are supposed to come off before delivery, they are only temporary and not meant to stay in place, eventually they will all just fall out.

But all of this is guessing till you provide the proper model information. ;)

The loader on my M7040 has these caps. One or two fell out and the dealer was able to supply new ones.

CAP, BOSS - 7J417-58980 $1.28

A total of 6 are needed.

Expect these are the same as the LA1154 loader on the M7060 which Messicks confirms.

Re: LA1134 loader

Not sure what the point in a cap is. Take a disposable shop towel and wipe off the grease that has oozed out.

If you really want plugs, go to any electronics supply house and enter 'Plug Buttons' and many will come up in various sizes and materials and colors. Measure the ID of the hole and order accordingly. Very common in the electronics industry. Plug buttons or knockout plugs. Probably a lot cheaper too.

At $1.28 per genuine Kubota plug why look for alternatives.

I like having the plugs. They limit where the grease squeezes out and hence what and where I have to wipe up.

I can walk beside the loader with one of my few decent clothes on and not end up with a grease smear.
