Hi-

Anyone know if the rubber brake, forward, and reverse pads are easily removed on the BX? Are they glued on or just friction fit over something?

Thanks!

Which BX model are you referring to?

I believe newer models are different from older models.

Were glued on, on both my M9's. Replaced them, cleaned to glue off with mineral spirits. New ones slipped over the pedals so no glue needed.

Oh, sorry, didn't realize - I'm referring to a BX1860 from 2012.
My fault, you have that right on the left side of your post.
I typed before I read it.

Should be easy to tell how they are attached, just peel one back to see.

FYI, brake pedal cover is K2581-43190.
Forward pedal cover is K2581-42310
Reverse pedal cover is K2581-42320

I’ll take a look this evening. I’m hoping for just friction...but as I’ve come to learn, hope alone is never a great strategy.

Thanks!

If my newer bx80 is any indication they are attached with grease and/or a heavy spring that pops them off!
