Lost power to the front wheels. Slid the little collar back being the front axle to confirm it is turning. It is. Lifted up the front end, can spin both wheels freely but only independently. Engaged the front diff lock and the rh front wheel locks up but the left freewheels. There is drive to the front rh wheel with the diff lock engaged. Is the diff shot? I'm thinking so.

Because the diff lock actually locks the carrier to the left side gear I think the diff is likely OK but something is wrong in the drive from the diff to the left wheel. If the diff had failed you would have drive to the left side but NOT the right with the diff lock engaged.
