L3901 FEL level indicator

Hello

We purchased our L3901 via phone and email after having looked at them some 90 days earlier. I'm trying to determine if I'm mixing up models or something as I thought they all had a FEL level indicator. We took delivery today and there is not one. An input?

I have an L2501 with the LA525 loader. This loader did not come with a level indicator but it was an easy installation. I think it was $50 or $75 but has I run around town seeking parts I could see spending that in gas and time.

Your dealer will have the indicator tube and bracket as a welded together part. Think it's 24 bucks. You'll need the rid which you can source at any farm store, TSC has it in stock fir a couple bucks. Just replaced one and it comes pre painted, in orange of course. The rod isn't of course and you'll need to drill a hole in the end for the pivot.

I think (could be wrong) that later Kubota's went to a flat plate on the bucket that is, in my opinion, worthless.

You can order wholegoods number L2130 gets you the whole kit. Just put one on my L2501

The Kubota kit I got isn't just a simple bolt on. It comes with two replacement pivot pins for the FEL linkage. They're a bit longer than the original pins and drilled for the indicator. Of course the two piecee indicator rod is included as is a guide which bolts onto the FEL. the instructions aren't the best - really they're not much good at all. The Kubota kit was easy to install. I am glad I added it to my loader. Images show how the pins were replaced with longer ones. As you can see it is an easy adjustment to show level with different attachments.

I bought my L3901 in 2015 and it was not delivered with one either. When I took it back for the 50 service this summer(2019) I took my paperwork with me from when I purchase it and it showed the level indicator on the description. They went in the back and brought out one for me. Now all I have to do is put it on.
