I'm working to diagnose a rumbling sound that occurs intermittently.
sounds like a bucket of bolts being shaken...in other words it isnt the best noise i could hear
happens when it is just idling...comes and goes...if i turn up the engine speed. it does go away
at least this is what i've seen from just a few minutes of running it
Dont want to run much till I figure this out to prevent more possible damage
I will keep this thread updated with all of my actions towards solving the problem, to possibly help someone else with same issue
First step I took was check oil level and then to replace the cartridge filter
Today I'm going to clean the screen filters
I'm not sure where both are, but do think i found where one is...down at a big hardline connection for hyd's next to tranny drain bolt...however this bolt head is pretty buggered, so hope i can get it off
factory shop manual, which I have, gives full troubleshooting procedure for hst tranny noise.
I'll be following and will give updates
Today will also take video of the noise
