Thoughts on a Rhino TW26 Cutter?

Looking at a Rhino TW26 rotary cutter (6ft). Anyone have experience with one? What is the quality like/do they hold up? Would be cutting 16 acres with it. Mostly grass up to 3 feet tall. I try to keep it to less and mow 4 to 6 times a year. It can get pretty thick at times.

Would this cutter be a good fit for a 45 pto hp tractor in these conditions? I want to go at least 3 mph (4 mph would be better.)

45 PTO HP is sufficient for a 6' rotary cutter in most conditions.

How fast you can mow depends upon the thickness of the grass and how close you plan to mow. Thick takes MUCH more HP than does tall.

Never owned a Rhino mower so cannot comment.

I agree with SDT's comment. Like him, I've never owned a Rino and don't know much about them.
Looking at the spec. sheet, I noticed that there is a 65hp gearbox on that mower.
I would consider that for light duty use. If you are only cutting grass I'd expect you would be OK. If you're going to cut brush or small trees, I'd recommend something with a higher rated gearbox. (100hp maybe.)
