Recently I completed the 400 hour maintenance on my L3901 and it occurred to me that I was doing all the steps of the 50 hour, 100 hour, and 200 hour maintenance milestone as well. So I am in the process making a video for each of these milestones with the video I shot for the 400 hour maintenance. I am also going to release several standalone videos for tasks such as greasing, oil change, hydraulic oil change, and cleaning the water separator.

In addition to going step-by-step through the maintenance tasks, I explain what problems you might run into that your manual doesn't cover. I also tell you every tool you will need for each task, down to the correct wrench sizes.

You can download a list of tools and supplies needed from the companion page on the DIY My Way website:
Kubota L Series 5 Hour Maintenance – DIY My Way

Here is the 50 hour maintenance video:

I have also released standalone videos on Changing the Oil and Oil Filter and Greasing. You can find these in the Kubota L Series Maintenance Playlist.

I hope you find these helpful.

Sounds terrific! One editorial suggestion: Change your title to L3301 and above, or list the specific models. The L2501 and the L60 tractors are quite different from yours in service and operation, so any pictures might be confusing.

Thanks for the input. I'll grant you that the L60 is a very different animal, but I was pretty sure the L2501 has the same chasis as the 3301 and 3901, with the big difference being the L2501 doesn't have the DPF. I mention this in the video. Am a wrong about the L2501?

It has a different engine too, and a different fuel delivery system. The L60s and L3301 etc are common rail systems. The L60s have divided fuel tanks to fit more stuff in. I have not looked at the parts diagrams for an L2501, but if you are curious, down load them free from Kubota and compare the 3 versions.

For those of you coming up on the 100 hour maintenance of your L2501, L3301 or L3901 tractor. Here is the full 100 hour maintenance video. In addition to walking you step-by-step through the maintenance tasks, I'll tell you what problems you might have that your manual doesn't cover. I'll also tell you every tool you will need for each task, down to the correct wrench sizes.

It's great!

I sure wish that this had been around 6 years ago when I got mt tractor.

It would of kept me from reading all the maintenance charts over and over.

thanks
