Steam shovel type setup is very useful in popping trees out of the ground,
or for under digging a slab or foundation.

I had wondered about doing that with the bucket on my BX 23 to dig out a couple of dwarf Alberta spruce. So it is possible then?

Yeah, I can see that. Wonder if it's do-able with my B670? Hmmmm....

Found some pics. At least one manufacturer makes a bucket that goes both ways.
