Looking for some assistance with a leaky hydraulic line. Fluid is seeping from the top of the connection. Line doesn't show any impact. Any suggestion on stopping the leak without having to purchase a new line. The hydraulic fluid is seeping from the top of the seal.

Thanks

The line is cracked inside the nut just behind the compression furrel. Not at all uncommon! I guess you could cut off the furrel and install a new one if the line is long enough but you are likely much better to replace the line. You could replace it with a hydraulic hose if there is enough room.

I would say just replace it. Hoses that leak are usually just used well. There’s nothing really you can do to stop this. Just typical wear and tear.
