Late model B7100 hst throwout bearing grease question

I have a 1997 B7100 hst and there is no mention in my owners manual of greasing the throwout bearing. The red arrow points to a hole in the frame that gives access to a grease zirk. I do not have a workshop manual, perhaps it is covered in it.
Can someone confirm this is indeed a grease zirk for throwout bearing?
If so, how often (hours) should I be greasing and how much? I have been once a year , one or two pumps of my manual grease gun.

If this does not grease the throwout bearing what have I been greasing? Lol

It does not grease the throw out bearing, it only greases the tube that the fork moves to engage the throw out bearing.
And one squirt about every 5 years would be fine for an HST that only uses the clutch for Starting and PTO operations.

It needed greased way more when it was geared and used in rice fields.

Ken, you pump too much grease and it ends up in the clutch housing and eventually on the clutch disc, which creates problems.

Visualize a piece of pipe that slides on a shaft, and the pipe has a grease fitting on the side. The grease just makes sure the "pipe" can slide on the shaft. No extra needed. As mentioned, no grease gets into the throw out bearing.
