I cut the fuel on my L4150 and forgot to turn the key to the off position. Hour later the ignition lights are bright but will not turn over. Tried to jump off another battery and nothing, no click, nothing. The instrument lights dim slightly when the turned. What did I do?

The very first thing to do is to thoroughly charge the battery.

If you have not yet turned the key off, try turning it off and leaving it that way for thirty seconds or so. Then try starting it. It may just be out of sequence and "think" it's still running. If it "thinks" it's running that could lock the starter out of the circuit. This is just a possibility - something to try.

Take the negative terminal off the battery for 15 minutes. With the battery charged (make sure it's full with a charger) reattach. Disconnecting power from the tractor's circuits will reset them, or should. I do it with my car sometimes helps clear a stray check engine light.

Your L4150 doesn't have any computers in it, so disconnecting the battery for any length of time is not going to affect it one bit.

Sounds like you have a safety switch enabled like the PTO, or Shuttle lever.

I take it you manually shut it off because the stop solenoid isn't working correctly?
