D950 engine question

I have a B7200 that I bought a while back. I've not used it a lot but the last time I tried to use it most of the hydraulic fluid went into the crankcase. I pulled the hydraulic pump and found it had been modified and was leaking through a lubrication port that had been plugged and into the crankcase. I checked and found the engine was not the correct engine for my B7200. It's a D1105 engine and apparently spins the pump in the opposite direction than the correct D950 engine, thus the modification. I've located some replacement engines but the specs show the B7200 is supposed to have a D950-LA engine. An engine I'm looking at is a D950-DT. Can anyone tell me what the difference is between and "LA" and "DT" engine before I shell out the cash?

Really nothing notably different that I can think of.
All the vital parts are the same.

One other option is to get the pump for the D1105 and hook that up to the existing plumbing, way cheaper than a motor change, and the D1105 is a better motor than the D950's.

Thanks for the reply. I did consider the correct pump for the D1105 but I think there may be some engine damage due to the crankcase filling with hydraulic fluid. It started running hot thus a potential for an engine change out. I've got a new pump that I ordered for the D950 engine I thought was in the tractor.

I've seen many an engine filled to the top and over with hydraulic fluid and none of them did any damage at all to the engine including any bearings.
Hydraulic fluid is a good lube epecially in bulk.
Could have just been running hot because the pump was overworking the motor, or from the motor was over working trying to move too much fluid inside of it.

Thanks. I'm going to divert the hydraulic lines, drain the engine, refill and crank it to see if it runs cooler.
