Newer owner of a L35 TLB with 1350 hours. The forum helped me repair one of my stabilizers now I have another issue. Part # 75595-2151-0 boom pin on the swing frame (1.50X10.20) seems to be broken in 1/2. The opposite end that does not have the hex bolt is working it's way out. I tried to get a picture to download but can't get it. Anyone else ever have this problem? What would cause this? I purchased the unit from an estate so I do not know the history of the tractor. Thanks

Are you getting your part numbers from a book?
If you are throw it on a shelf, the numbers have changed, in your case you get lucky 75595-2151-0 turn into 75595-21510 but that is not always the case.
The only valid kubota Part #'s are XXXXX-XXXXX format.

Go to:
https://apps.kubotausa.com/illustrated-parts/
To get the current part numbers.

As far as why the pin broke, I would say either too much stress or lack of grease. ;)

Wolfman, thanks for the reply. I thought I was pretty lucky I found a complete set of manuals for the L35 TLB on Craigslist. Parts, operating and flat rate schedule manuals. The swing frame appears to have more play in it then just the one broken pin. My local Kubota dealer said if I take off the BH and get it to them they will rebuild / repair it. 90.00 an hour plus parts.
Estimate of 600.00 - 700.00 as long as nothing needs welded and re bored. my flat rate book gives 5 hours for the main & swing frame rebuild. Does that sound about right? Is that price about the going rate? Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

They are brutally easy to work on all you need is the right
parts and the most basic of hand tools!

I agree with L35, they are easy to work on, but it sounds like you either don't have the time, location or tools to do it.

They want the BH off to do the repairs? I would think it would be easier if it was still on the tractor.

$90/hr is not too bad of a price.
But you can rack up a heck of a bill with labor and parts.

Yes they said to just bring in the BH. After the response from you & L35 maybe I'll try the repair, I do have the place and some tools. I do not have mics, torches or a press would they be needed? Are there any videos of repairs to BH's that you know of? In your opinion if a pin has play replace both the pin & bushings at the same time? I really appreciate the help with the money saved I can buy more attachments, I need the 3 point setup as it did not come with the tractor. I just received a ratchet rake & titan debris forks for the TL720 loader. Thanks.

Can use a drift or similar sized socket to drive out the pin, should be smaller then the bore its in as they tend to wear. Probably come out pretty easy.

Depending on which exact joint your working on, a good chain fall and a strong beam over head will help tremendously, if you don't have that you, could drop it and use the loader to hold and aline it. ;)

Thanks I have those tools. I will be changing pin boom 1 and the bushings. I'll let you know how that turns out. the other pins I want to change are pins 75595-12210 & 20 but wow what a price difference the main boom pin was 56.00. The other 2 pins are 249.00 & 183.00 picked up at my local Kubota dealer, and they look identical to each other. Messiks and Coleman are a couple bucks cheaper but I have to add shipping for them. Do you know of a cheaper place to get them?
