My BX2680 came with turfs. After a year and 90 hours they weren't doing what I needed so I bought R4s and that solved my issues.
I hung on to the turfs through the winter in case the R4s couldn't deal with snow but they did just fine so the turfs now need to go, they're still in great shape.

What should I ask for the turfs and where should I advertise them? CL? FB? Honestly, I'd just like them gone as they're taking up space in the garage.

Thanks for any input.

A new set (tires and wheels) can be purchased through wholegoods for the following price.

ABXR8771 F-TIRE 18x8.50-10 R3 OTR Grass Master 21 lbs $ 62.00
ABXR8712 R-TIRE 26x12.00-12 R3 Titan Multi Trac 40 lbs $ 108.00

$340 for the set

Perhaps this can be used as reference to set a fair price for the used tires/wheels.

(Note: Prices are from Sept 12, 2018 price list)

I have a set of BX turf tires and wheels that I would probably expect to get $200 for if I sold them.

For that amount I will just keep them. But storage is not an issue for me.

In my case, if I were to trade my BX in on a newer model, I would put the turfs on it and keep my foam filled ag tires. I guess that is affecting my thought process. My BX2200 performs well though, and is not in need of replacement.

Not to hijack the thread, but how does one go about buying through whole goods?
I like my turfs for mowing but I would love a set of R4's for loader work in the woods.

Hijacking is fine with me!
When I went to R4s I talked directly to the parts counter as opposed to the sales guy. I'm guessing whole goods is what I got as a previous conversation with a "sales guy" at another dealership was $500 more.
As a side note, the R4s have performed well enough for me in all conditions that I'm ready to unload the turfs.

I have to ask.....what are you calling wholegoods? Is it a web site, store or....?

Kubota Sales department sell Wholegoods items and are the same people one would buy a new tractor from. Accessories and optional items typically are sold using the wholegoods price list.

Call your local Kubota dealer and ask for sales. They will give you the price of the tires and wheels sold as a ready to use set.

Parts Department on the other hand will sell you a tire and a wheel independently (2 line items) that will need to be mounted before placing on the tractor. It will also cost a lot more than wholegoods.

Scenario 1, Walking into Kubota dealership: Go to the folks who sell the tractors not the part department.

Scenario 2, Phone call: Ask for Sales.

Hope this helps.

I bought a set off of facebook market place, like new all 4 for $60.00 . By the time I called the guy and we met up for the exchange he said he had 5 or 6 more calls on them. I was lucky that day, they were only on there for 10 minutes. Don't if I'll ever use them but couldn't pass them up for that price.

Vidiot, I'm in your neck of the woods - a couple of miles south of Hamilton, off Loudoun Orchard. When getting some replacement R4 wheels on my BX25, I did as 200mph talked to, headed to Sales rather than Parts (at Browning) and got the whole goods pricing. So that's the place I'd start when figuring out a price. I toyed with the idea of getting some turfs to be easier with the lawn up close to the house and for winter, but haven't quite wrapped my head around storing my filled rears which are just too heavy to store up on a shelf. So I just continue to run the R4s all year.

OP, did you ever sell the tires and wheels?

How much?
I picked the set up from him for $250, including a set of clamp on forks. They're on my BX now, and the R4s are in the shed awaiting heavy duty.

I picked up a bx1880 and those 8" front wheels allow my front knuckles to drag in soft forest- Does anyone make 18x8.5x8 tires or will I need set of 10" front tires & wheels?
