Hope I’ve listed this in the correct thread??!!

I’m looking at purchasing a one owner 2005 B2910. Very well taken care of. Everything appears to be in great shape. The tractor has 1740 “ gently used hours” on it, my question is, is it close to clutch replacement and if so, what does that usually cost to have changed? Thanks for your time and help.

You can not really base clutch wear on hours, too many factors involved.

That's a hydrostatic tractor, so you may never need to change the clutch, much different wear times than a gear drive tractor, as the clutch is only used to engage and disengage the PTO. ;)

I have a B2910 that is about 15 years old. Bought it new.

The clutch is not really used much. Yes, you push it in to start the tractor, and maybe when using a brush hog or post hole digger. But basically not much.

Honesty, if I were buying a used B2910 the clutch would not be a major concern for me, having owned one for a long time.

The B2910 clutch does not see the kind of usage that a manual transmission tractor clutch would.
