Just curious as to why Kubota has yellow break pedals on early B series tractor? Pretty much every B series tractor I've seen weather it was a grey market or a U.S. model has yellow break pedals and I've always wondered why that is. Does anybody happen to know?

May be because it looks cool Eric:D on the other hand it may be to make them stand out from the rest of the tractor when you need to find them in a panic;):D didn't they paint the fill, drain and adjust bolt heads to make them easy to find?

Eric, I have had the same question, I just never got around to posting it. If it was to make them stand out, why didn't they do it on the other series tractors. Inquiring minds want to know.

If I ever paint the chassis, I have wondered if I am anal enough to keep them yellow!! Who ever repainted my son's B6100 repainted them yellow. It is the wrong yellow, but they are yellow.

Probably the same reason stop signs are red, It makes them stand out, Gets your attention quickly, Why they did not continue the practice is also a good question.

Ironically I think most operators once having determined the brake pedal location no longer need the color to help them locate the brake pedals, Just like the operator of a car or truck with a standard transmission does not need the gas/brake/clutch pedal highlited in a different color because once familiar with the location the need to look at the pedals is no longer needed, It is done from memory.

I kinda like the yellow pedals on my B5100E and if I ever got around to repainting it I would probably repaint them in yellow.

I have an early L185DT and it has yellow brake pedals as well. Maybe that was the only color they had left in the factory that they hadn't used yet!!!!! :D:D

My L175 used to have yellow pedals. The yellow was original but when I painted my tractor they turned BLUE.
Personally I liked the uniform color and the yellow just stuck out like a sore thumb. Keeping all the Kubota Blue uniform was my choice. :D:D
