Good morning, this is my first post so sorry if this has been covered.
I have a l3250 with front loader on that has just had its clutch changed but now it wont go into the high gears its like the creeper gear is still engaged but its not. Oil the back end oil has been drained and new filter and oil put in. It drives in low range ok but not in high and the revs dont seam to pick up.

Thanks in advance.

Paul

Hi Paul - welcome to OTT
The L3250 shifter has a restrictive mechanism to prevent reversing the shuttle when in 4th gear high. I'm wondering if the issue is related to the linkage somehow. Did it work ok before the clutch replacement? Linkage may have been removed or disconnected during that job?

I tried scanning WSM 60329-0 page M.3-13 that shows the linkage but this website will allow only small files. If you PM me with your email address I can send it that way. Take care, Dick B

The shift linkage on that model is all external, and it sounds like the shift linkage was not reinstalled properly when the clutch was done.
Look at the two rods and make sure they are connected and adjusted properly.

rbargeron, covered most of it.

Hi Paul got your pm, I've emailed M.3-11, M.3-12, and M.3-13 from WSM 60329-0 showing the speed change rods and restrictor arrangement. As Wolfman says, it all has to be in order. Good luck, Dick B
