I wasn't able to get to the web site earlier, was anyone else having issues?

Maybe the website was going through a regen cycle.

When i needed information I just used cached OTT webpages from google while it was down. I needed my 3rd function research! Glad it's back up and running again

Hey everyone, sorry for the disruptions lately. We've been working with the hosting provider to get everything sorted out. I think last night we got the last couple of bugs and hardware issues sorted so we should be good for now. Thanks for hanging in there!

Guess I need to do a 'who is' search and find out exactly who owns it. It is a matter of public record.

Whois nets me this: Tuckows Domians Inc., Toronto, Canada. I'd say it's another conglomerate like Vertical Scope with many forums under one roof.

The forum was probably owned by an individual at some point but was purchased by another company, in this case Tuckows Domains, unless I'm wrong.

If I am, correct me.

Your information is way off!

It's TUCOWS, and they are just the registration company, not the owner, just like Godaddy.

OTT is not owned by a conglomerate, it owned by person, I know because I talk to them.

You can hide and keep private who actually own a web site, I know because some of mine are hidden from public record, some are not.

Hosting the web site is also done by another company, INMOTIONHOSTING.COM , and they too do not own the site, but that information is not always right, as hosting can bounce around all the time.

All I know was the site was down 2 days but it's back up now. All good with me.
