Larry- it would help if you specified your complete tractor model #, and what the specific problem(s) were that lead you to replace the pump.

What type of diagnostics were performed to determine the old hyd pump was faulty. Prior to replacing pump did you install new hyd filter &/or clean sump screen if applicable???

Many hyd pumps have been replaced only to determine that the pump that was replaced wasn't at fault IE was good.
