I found a RM 59 for a pretty good price but before I buy it I would like some advice. Is this mower compatible with the CCW rotation of my B6000? Will it be powerful enough to use this mower? I read somewhere that there is a belly mower version that was for cub tractors and they only have about 8 horses so I think my 13 should be good. Thanks in advance for any help.

An RM48 or RM42 would be a better fit. My RM48 is about all mine can handle in high grass. I have a reverser but my B6000 I had in the 70's didn't. The reverse blades and spindles are available but a bit pricy. Check mine out.

While I think Kubota's can do a lot, The RM 59 is a 25+HP mower, I don't think your 10.9 HP B6000 is up to the task. ;)

You need a RM59K. This is for the reverse rotation of the PTO.

*Having not seen a standard RM59 I can't speak for the mechanics. It may be possible that the 59K differentiates only by having the blades being made 'backwards'.

The 600 will pull and cut with the 59 no problem. Mine has been working fine for 43 years. If you're mowing really deep stuff like a foot tall, take the covers off both sides.
