ID tag fell off-how to replace?

Tractor's ID tag (2" x 3") on left side of the frame fell off. It feels like a thin film of foil backed by vinyl with the model # and serial # stamped into. Early 90's L2950D-51532. I would like it to be replaced or salvage this one. The back of this one has got a layer of rusted metal stuck to it, probably just a adhesive backed sticker is my guess. Any ideas out there?

I would just tape it to the inside of your manual for documentation.

I had to install some signs in our new gym.....AD wanted to "tape" them....

then she wanted to move them about a week later! This stuff pulled the mortar out of the cracks!

Clean up the rust and get some of this stuff.....betcha it will last a long time!

Gorilla Glue works good also, glue sticker on, secure with painters tape, let dry, remove painters tape.

Thanks for the ideas. Gorilla adhesives are probably better than the factory self-adhesive sticker. Maybe I'll just do as dlundblad suggests and get a $7 ebay serial tag just for future reference.

The engine serial number is on the engine casting and the frame / model number is stamped in the frame rail as well.

The sticker is a quick reference, nothing more.
