I figured I'd post a few photo's of the Kubota fork attachment I put on the tractor yesterday because when I went to purchase these I couldn't find a photo of them anywhere so in posting these I hope it helps others when looking for a Kubota fork attachment or a photo of it. The forks are 42 long and 4 wide. Very well built and fit perfectly. Thanks to Todd at Newfoundland Kubota for taking the time to drop them off to me last evening

Sooner or later you have everything...

What is the task, your forklifter can not do?

I use my forklift for heavy lifts but there are times I get a call asking me to travel my fork lift to another location but I can't do it because there is no license or insurance on the fork lift.

By adding the fork attachment to the tractor I can now go and do the lifts I'm asked to do.
:D

I'm really surprised at how low they are rated from a capacity standpoint. I may be wrong but I'd guess a tractor that large would have a lift capability of a lot more than 1300lbs?

I just sold a set that was taken off a yale or maybe it was a clark, anyway it was taken out of service for whatever reason and my buddy sold em to me. same length,as those and look to be about the same width. weighed about 150 lbs. each, were rated at 4K lbs/pair plus built in safety amount.

I sold those because they were a little to heavy to use on my little Kubotas. I would like a set off a straddle stacker or a yale 2.5K. that was I could use them for picking up more than just the forks.

Up here they take the out of service if the heal is worn on the forks. You really can't notice it but they will put a gauge on the heal and if they think it's worn it's off the machine.

As for the forks and attachment.i called the dealer and asked them about the fork capacity and they said Kubota said the forks can handle 4200 lbs and the loader can lift aprox.1850lbs to full height. If I need to lift heavier I'll just start up this fellow. :D

Building anything is the easy part. Sourcing the parts while living on a rock out in the middle of the North Atlantic is the hard part. In this case it was more cost effective to buy rather than fabricate. If you really size up my projects you'll notice something similar about them all. They are not available on the open market. If they were I wouldn't have went through the trouble to build them :p

Bingo. I have a set of clamp on Rankin forks for mine, boy are they handy. I could have easily fabricated a similar set, but I found these lightly used for way less than my fab time is worth.

Paul, nice forks! They look very similar to the set I put together. I bought a used set w/ the carrier from the Clark dealer where I used to live. The carrier was 30" wide and I wanted it wider. So I added 15" to each side so the fork's carrier is now 60" wide. I've used them for all kinds of stuff. I have no idea what they are rated for. I know I have tried to lift stuff that was too heavy for the loader and the forks didn't bend, bow, or show any signs of being too light for what I was trying to do. Thanks for posting!

Thanks. Sounds like you have a nice set up. I used mine today at a customers shop across the street. He was sure happy I had them. I doubt you'd have an issue with your forks. They can take a lot of strain.
