Seems as though Vermeer haytools are popular everywhere but here. Around here, it's CNH (which I have) or JD (which I don't care for). Dealer keeps trying to get me to demo a Kubota twine / net round baler and he has a nice new trailing rake as well.
Right now, on the fence. The Kubota baler will wrap with 52 over the edge net like i like (and my customer likes) but the twine box is limited in capacity. My 450 NH holds 4 mega balls, the Kubby holds 2. My 450 carries a spare roll of net, the Kubby don't.
Really need a new rake, my H&S single rotor is 25 years old and showing it's age but the Kubby is a trailer with hydraulic lift and I'd prefer a headstock rake just for the ability to pick it up and turn sharp on the headlands.
Decisions, decisions. Kubby is still at 5 years 0 percent.
