are sudt and sudt2 compatible

I need to top off the hst. We put Kubota fluid in, but I don't remember if it was sudt or sudt2. We have sudt2 to top it off. Are they compatible?

Very much so ......the S was a synthetic blend.....the S and the 2 means it was ALL synthetic......

both are backward compatible with plain ol UDT also!

Yes, so my dealer told me.

An example was if they were not and a unit was filled with UDT you could never switch to SUDT2 as it is nearly impossible to remove all the fluid from the lines etc.

I switched t the SUDT2 in my L4600 no issues so far.

Unless you need it real bad id go back and get it....wouldn't mix anything else..

The kicker here is that you have a HST.....that basically means feed it with the good stuff....or the better stuff, or the best stuff.......not the stuff that seems to be ok stuff!
