Nice B6000,

I use Messick's. Try Ebay, Craigslist, ect. Parts are getting hard to find. They are 40 years old. Antique tractors now I guess. When I was a kid I thought Ford 8N and Allis G's were old. I guess the B6000's are older now than the 8N's were when I was younger. Good luck. :)

My “new” B6000 decides to lose one of the front driveshaft u-joints and I too am looking for a good parts house. In my search I found Colman equipment. Not sure how good they are yet, they seem pricey but that may just be me not knowing what parts go for. The nice thing I found with them is good parts diagrams. That has been a Godsend as the manual that the man I bought from gave me is a copy of a copy of a copy.

For parts diagrams go straight to the source, Kubota :

Yes Coleman Equipment is good, they are one of the biggest dealers.
I order 95% of my parts from them.

Kubota Parts are expensive, period, that one of the reasons your still running a 30+ year old tractor. ;)

Thanks for the info. I also own a older Land Rover. Expensive parts is part of owning them as well. I guess I am just a gluten for punishment.

Another push for Messicks.
Go on their site and register. Then clicky up the parts manuals. Note that the HST (hydrostatic trans) manual is the one to use as it will show superseded part numbers.

If you use the manual trans manual you'll get old part numbers that come up as obsolete.

Fun little tractor. Messicks, Colman, even had to use West Kentucky for a steering box (expensive). finding part numbers can be challenging especially for the implements. These guys are great on here have helped me alot. Cheers, Mark

For those of you that are commiserating here about the price of Kubota parts-believe me when I say I find them to be very economical. Why do I say that? I also have a Massey Ferguson GC2300 (2008MY) and the parts pricing is astronomical: bogie wheel for the mower deck $124USD (there are 4), replacement plastic grip for the PTO lever: $17, oil filter $22. I did not know this when I bought the 2300, and had I known I would have demurred. I'm going to modify the Massey deck to accept Kubota bogie wheels ($14-18 each at my local K dealer). Otherwise I'm happy with the 2300.

There seem to be a lot more of the B6000 Kubotas in Europe (witness all the Youtube videos), and there are several specialist suppliers. Tracpartz.com is the largest of these. They have new B6000 exhaust / muffler cans (can't find one in North America) for 75 Euros ($84USD) plus shipping. Had a friend who was restoring a B6000 here in Ontario and he said he had the muffler delivered within a week, fit perfectly and even came with a new chrome heat shield.

When I get tired of paying AGCO for the Massey parts, I'll sell it and buy a recent model B, but not one with any computer or special assembly that can only be analyzed and repaired at a dealer (mucho dinero $$$). But I digress...

Thanks for the website recommendation. I definitely makes getting parts easier!
I don't know how I missed this in the past, but you do know the B6000 you have is probably not a grey, only a small handful were.

All B6000's turn CCW.
Is there any english writing on it?
If there is, it's not a grey.

I have another question for ya Idaho.... My b6000 needs a different seat, new hubs, new fenders, wheel weighs, new accelerator level, lights, and a few more misc things. I have an opportunity to buy another B6000 for around $1700 that has all the parts that I listed (but in better condition) the tractor overall is in poor condition. Do you think I should pull the trigger on it and swap the above items and relist it for 1600$? I want keep my current b6000 and make it look better... Or should I just try buying all the parts separate?
