Purchased the tractor 3 years ago and operated it in an "as is" condition. Great running tractor so I decided to repair "sticking" left brake and pulled it apart. The boss spline was seized on the axle shaft and I was able to remove it from the axle by applying some heat to the boss spline.

The brake part surfaces and teeth do not show damage / wear. The cam brake moves freely. I need guidance on the "sticking" root cause.

The boss spline does not freely slide on the axle shaft. I am suspecting there may be a slight twist in the axle causing the boss spline to be immovable.

Any guidance is most appreciated. Thanks!

Post up some pics. But first youll need, I think, 5 posts to be able to post pics so respond to this and some other threads to build your count up. I have a 345dt which i think is similar to yours so im curious about your issue.
