L35 loader issue

When I place the edge of the loader bucket , model TL720, down on the ground and back up to level the turf, the bucket just rolls over rather then remaining in place.

Am I missing some setting or adjustment?

Check the linkage that keeps the bucket on the same plane when you raise or lower it. It runs along the upper loader arm. Good luck.

One other possible issue is you could have a blow seal internally that is letting it bypass fluid.

Thanks for the thoughts on the problem. Since there are 2 cylinders controlling the bucket, would a bad seal on one cylinder cause the problem?

Walt, maybe you're pushing your control valve just a bit too far and end up in float position.

On my tractor, float only affects the loader arms, the bucket does not move from where I place it.

Thanks for the thoughts on the problem. Since there are 2 cylinders controlling the bucket, would a bad seal on one cylinder cause the problem?

The few people I gave this cylinder testing procedure to told me it was easy to follow and identified if there was a problem.

Does your loader valve have two levers or a joystick?

Did you apply down pressure? The little bit of oil in the lines will act as an accumulator if you simply drop the boom down to ground level without down pressure and the boom will float a little.
