My 90 year old neighbor just gave me an old Kubota. It has the number L1500 stamped on the side of the transmission case. The numbers 1751 are after the L1500. Any ideas about how old this tractor is?
Thanks for the replies. Carl, I have a Ford1210 that I have had since new. It will be my primary tractor in that it has the turf tires and a hydrostatic transmission. The Kubota has what look to be original rice paddy tires. I will use the Kubota if I can make it work on my rather hilly property. G
My tractor has also rice tires. As long the lawn is not under water they do not damage it. But the used up front tires are harmfull to the lawn, because of the narrow turning circle. I have to think about that when I use it on the lawn. For the job to mow it I have an extra lawn-tractor from Yardman.
