I have a 2750D that I was going to rebuild. It needs a new housing ($560 at your dealer). I bought the two shaft bearings, and still have them in the package. New sprockets and chain last year. What happened was that the lower bearings were gone. I hit a piece of ice, and it pulled the whole shaft forward (the bearings would have stopped this) and the fan hit the housing. You could get the new housing, bend the fan face back into shape with two wrenches, and swap all the parts with the new bearings into the new housing and have a like-new snowblower for cheap. I was going to do this, but when it broke, we were getting snow the next day and ended up buying a new one before the snow. My bad timing.
